So, I was browsing on deviantart, checking some random deviants and found this one
And she has this thingy running:
First 10 people to comment on her journal get a free drawing IF they have the same thingy running in their own journal. As I requested a drawing, I also have to give out 10 free pictures to the first 10 people that respond on this journal entry (like noone ever, but it's worth a try ^^)

I wanted an art from

so i wanted to train..."hone my skills" as they call it...but actually...its really hard to get started...well i got started this far: i found some lineart i want to colour (since i cant do linearts myself without any reference) but then, theres just the next problem: how do i get started on colouring? i wanted to go for some rather realistic looks, but the lineart i have is rather anime/manga based...so the eyes dont fit with the nose dont fit with the chin dont fit with the whole form of the head...have you ever tried to colour a tiny pointy nose? in a realistic way? without any skills (or tablet)? well, im still gonna try...maybe ill go for a rather watercolour-like look...make the lines sketchier and let the colour bleed all over xD. maybe ill just draw some random person myself with a reference...and then try and colour it realisticly... (need to find good ref pic then =S)
anyways...ranting over for now...gonna make cookies and go to bed ^^

xD actually there was no need for me to reregister...since i had only one deviation up on the old account...i just didnt like the username there anmore (if anyone tells me, there is a way to change your username...i might drop dead...xD)
anyways...im still planing on starting with some drawing (although i know i prolly missed my train...being 20 and all xD)
right now id like to draw some fanart (ragnarok online, missmab, rynnays chars, maybe one piece? dunno what else...) mainly to practice. id like to be able to draw animal, human and mixed beings ^^' (i dont see as much challenge in not living things although there sure is...its just me not seeing it - im not counting in huge sceneries oO)
after that i wanna see where my interest lie and then id sure try to improve...xD
well...so much for planing...now to drawing...
oh and ill reupload the not very good huntress of ragnarok online, i drew long time ago...

oh..btw: ill mainly be working like this: sketch on paper, scan it, ink and colour it with my mouse on paint shop pro x... (id love to have a tablet...but im not artistic enough to spend so much money on it [yet?]) if anyone knows good pspx tutorials, please be nice and show them to me ^^
